An opportunity to make a ROCKY reference? Is it really true? Can it be?
Yes! the Browns signed defensive end Adrian Clayborn to a two-year deal. This is a veteran that will help the defensive line this upcoming season. He’s 31-years-old and played on the Atlanta Falcons last year.
Clayborn has logged 110 total games played, in which he has accrued 196 total tackles, 36.5 sacks, 10 forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries. Last year, the veteran made 12 tackles, four sacks and two forced fumbles. Clayborn with make $5.75 million dollars and it has a chance to increase to $6.75 over the course of these upcoming two years. It will be exciting to see what Clayborn brings to Cleveland on the defensive front and if he can be of some assistance to the likes of fellow defensive end, Myles Garrett, and the rest of the defense.
Clayborn went to Iowa and was selected with the 20th pick in the first round way back in 2011 by Tampa Bay.
Overall, a solid signing by the Browns.
