Wisconsin will take on Ohio State tonight in Columbus, Ohio. Wisconsin hasn’t beaten Ohio State in 12 years. Wisconsin and Ohio State are Big Ten rivals, but tonight, it might not feel that way. Ohio State has decimated its last two opponents. It’s like no team has an answer for their offense. Toledo became a recent victim in the hands of Ohio State. The team was absolutely in control against Toledo last Saturday.

The Buckeyes scored 763 total yards, the second-most in their school’s history. Eight different Buckeyes got in the end zone as they stream rolled Toledo, 77-21.

C.J. Stroud was C.J. Stroud. He will rarely disappoint you. Stroud threw for 367 yards and five touchdowns while completing 22 of 27 passes. Stroud hasn’t thrown an interception this season so far. This young man is focused and poised to win not just the Heisman Trophy but also the National Championship. Wisconsin’s defense will be tested tonight because Ohio State is hungry and they will not stop attacking. Their offense is too lethal.

As for Wisconsin, they should be happy with the development and growth of their quarterback Graham Mertz. Through three games, he’s thrown for 697 yards, completing 71% of his passes with six touchdowns and two interceptions. If he can cut down the interceptions, then Wisconsin will have more success from an offensive standpoint. Running back Braelon Allen is having a solid season as well, rushing for 332 yards with five touchdowns.

Wisconsin will have to figure out a way to keep up with Stroud. Will they change their game plan? Will they constantly blitz Stroud? Is there someone on the defensive line that can shock us and make an impact on this game?

We will have to wait and see for tonight. The Buckeyes have won five straight home matches in this series. I have Ohio State winning this game, 45-21.
