Winter Meetings: Day 2
After making a splash by trading for Brandon Moss on Monday, the Indians were relatively quiet on Tuesday.
Chris Antonetti feels comfortable with the Indians current roster, but Jordan Bastian of MLB.com tells us we could still see the possibility of the Indians shopping Michael Bourn, Nick Swisher, and David Murphy.
Jon Morosi of Fox Sports reports that The Indians have been contacted by teams with interest in dealing for first baseman and former catcher Carlos Santana, but it is highly unlikely that he will be dealt.
Around the A.L. Central:
The White Sox signed closer David Robertson to a 4 year/$46 million dollar contract, and acquired starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija which improves their roster significantly by filling two holes. The White Sox now arguably have the second best 1-2 punch in all of baseball. (Kershaw, Greinke)
