I learned something after the Cavs won the 2016 NBA Finals. Life goes on. That may come across as very cynical and if you would’ve told a teenage version of myself that he would’ve gone completely crazy saying how dumb you are. A title is everything!

Now, of course, I want the Browns to win the Super Bowl and that would be the most amazing thing for this city ever. However, I’ve enjoyed the ride for these 11-5 Browns so far this season with plenty more stops to go.

From the four different quarterbacks to all the injuries and the resiliency to keep on winning even with all of the adversity, these Dawgs are absolutely incredible.

I’ve had a pretty shitty time myself with epilepsy and having seizures practically daily. The Browns have given me something to look forward to each and every week and that’s not something that has been the case for most of my life as a fan.

I harken to TE David Njoku who had a severe burn accident, yet came back to play in the game that week. He’s been amazing this entire year and that’s a true example of this collective fight.

Just watching the game on Thursday night where the Browns crushed the New York Jets in Cleveland with a crowd that was going freakin’ crazy and it made me so thankful for the season. A year that is going to be one with playoff football. Not often can that be said in these parts.

Again, this isn’t to want the team to lose by any means. No, we aren’t tanking for a draft pick anymore thankfully. Those days are over.

Winning in sports always has meaning with it and there are certain symbolic moments for each and every fan. Some may carry more significance to one fan than another.

Believe it or not, every person has problems and life isn’t easy at all. This team has become something special and proves the fight and spirit involved in the game. Yes, I will be talking to my future children or be that cool sports uncle who brings up how amazing the Browns were way back in 2023.

It’s been such a great season and we are all Wacko for Flacco with the Flacco Fever too. But even if the ending isn’t a signature finish, it’ll be a year that will never ever be forgotten and that’s for sure.

Enjoy the rest of it because there may never be one quite like this. I’ve had a blast writing about the Browns and I thank everyone here at Cleveland Sports Talk for their work.
