Seattle didn’t have room for the receiver on their roster but quickly found a home once Cleveland claimed him. He played sparingly in seven games and made two starts. Williams (6’1″ 219) is another exclusive rights free agent, but it was reported that Cleveland signed him to a reserve/futures contract, so they intend to keep him around or at least give him another shot. Williams looked good in spurts last year, catching nine passes for 84 yards. I’m glad that the 25-year-old has an opportunity to make the roster in 2018 and hope he does.
