Why the Guardians Will Still Have a Successful 2023 season

Watching the Cleveland Guardians this season has not been the easiest. This team has struggled throughout this season thus far. Even though the Guardians have struggled heavily in this 2023 season, they still have a chance to bounce back and make this season successful. The term “successful” as in the Guardians will find a way to win the Central yet again and score a playoff berth.

At this point of the season, the Guardians are currently in 2nd play of the AL Central only behind 2.5 games to 1st place Minnesota Twins. The Guards also have a record of 30-34 as of right now. This record is not very good at all, but Cleveland is still hanging on the brink of winning this division with the season still being early.

In the past, I have seen the Indians/Guardians have a rough start, but then end up getting hot in the back end of the season. I see this season to be similar in the making. Come around July, maybe even early August, I have a feeling the Guardians will get it together and start a winning streak.

Starting a winning streak will lead to a division winner for Cleveland because with this rocky, struggling start, they are only trailing Minnesota by 2.5 games. Once the Guardians get hot, they will grab first place and have a comfortable lead in the division.

As painful as it can be to watch our baseball team right now, it will be worth it by the end of the season. Enjoy the ride through the good and the bad and we will see what outcome of this season will be here in a few months. I firmly believe the Guardians will get it together in the latter part of the season. Let’s ride the bull and see where it takes us. Go Guards!!!
