Eric Berry- He would probably be the cheapest free agent on this list, but it wouldn’t come without risk. Berry is an amazing, productive player when he is on the field. That’s the problem. Berry has only played in three of the last 32 games Kansas City has played and 30 years old trying to return from a torn Achilles and a bone spur. I would only pursue Berry if it’s an extremely team friendly contract full of incentives. I have no problem paying the man if he plays a full season and performs up to expectations.
Taylor Rapp- This is the kid that I want the Browns to draft with their second round pick. I have been trying to get people hip to Taylor Rapp for the past couple weeks. He is ranked fourth among safeties and is a tackling machine which is exactly what you want from your strong safety. Missed tackles can cost the team a victory and Rapp doesn’t miss often. This kid would be able to step on the field and perform immediately. If Rapp is available by the time Cleveland is on the clock, I wouldn’t be surprised if they selected him.
