Derrick Kindred- He seems to be the obvious option with how the current roster is constructed. The Browns drafted him in the fourth round of the 2016 draft and started 10 games at strong safety with Peppers playing free. Kindred played well with 57 tackles and six passes defended to prove it. When the Browns signed Damarious Randle, Peppers shifted to strong safety and Kindred was moved into a reserve role. He played in all 16 games with two starts and he produced 45 tackles, a defended pass, an interception, and forced a fumble.
