Anthony Edwards

Edwards is not the best fit for the Cavaliers but has lots of raw talent that hopefully, J.B. Bickerstaff can develop. Drafting Edwards means the Cavs will have to trade one of their guard duo of Sexton and Garland, and with point guards traditionally taking longer to develop, along with Edwards having the ability to play off-ball, it will most likely be Sexton. This fact is aided by Sexton’s increased value due to his heightened play after the promotion of Bickerstaff. In college, Edwards has shown his ability to take over the game and shoot lights out, but is generally an inconsistent shooter and not a great defender, which would lead to a horrible defending backcourt. This would allow teams to focus on backcourt scoring when playing the Cavs. With his huge upside, it would not be surprising to see the Cavs take him if they get a top pick.
