We’re In For One Hell Of A Ride
Unfinished business.
A phrase that has become my mentality, my way of life, and my personal goal. I remember the stinging tears streaming down my face that dark October night. I think about the looks of disappointment from players and fans alike.
163 games, 163 battles, 163 opportunities.
To win, to accomplish the amazing, to play this great game we call baseball.
Last year’s Cleveland Indians campaign was amazing. The team fought all the way till the very last pitch, and the magic radiated all over the city. However, all that awesomeness is over. It’s nothing but a memory. The calendar has turned from ’13 to ’14, and here in Cleveland the snow hasn’t cleared one bit as we prepare for the season. But we couldn’t have expected it any other way, right?
Once again, Cleveland fans are bubbling with anticipation about this year’s club. We’ve made it through the long and cold offseason. We fought through those terrible Browns and Cavaliers games together, as a city. Now it’s time for baseball. Hot dog in one hand, beer in the other baseball.
This year, be prepared for more magic than ever. Be ready for greatness. Be excited for these 2014 Cleveland Indians.
Because after all, we’ve got unfinished business.
