3.Tyus Jones

Tyus Jones is a 6’0″ point guard out of Duke. He spent the first four years of his career with Minnesota and the next three with the Grizzlies. Tyus has career averages of 6.2 points, 3.7 assists and 1.8 rebounds. These numbers don’t really jump off the page, but he is a steady backup point guard. Jones has been around the league for many years. As mentioned earlier, the Cavs desperately need another point guard. They need a guard who can backup Garland and be a facilitator off the bench. Once Rubio went down, the Cavs struggled offensively. Jones can be the long-term answer at backup point as he is still only 26 years old.

It will be interesting to see if any of these players are targeted by the Cavs. Or if the Wine and Gold decide to run it back with the roster from last year.
