Three Players to Tame the Indians Injury Bug
It’s well known that the Indians are well on their way to winning a fourth consecutive AL Central title in 2019, but that quest will have to begin without their steady infielders up the middle in SS Francisco Lindor and 2B Jason Kipnis.
Luckily for the Tribe, 3B Jose Ramirez, who exited Sunday’s Spring Traning game after fouling a ball off of his shin, is expected to be ready for Thursday’s opener against the Minnesota Twins.
With the Indians’ injury woes to open the season, here are the three players that could step up and steady the ship until Lindor and Kipnis make their respective returns.
