Damarious Randall was brought into Cleveland in a trade with the Green Bay Packers to start at free safety.
The addition of Randall will allow Michigan’s Jabrill Peppers to play a more natural role of strong-safety, closer to the line of scrimmage. Last season, Peppers was tragically misused due to lack of depth in the secondary.
Randall gives the Cleveland Browns both depth and versatility as he could play deep off the ball, or shift into a cornerback and cover receivers.
