RB Carlos Hyde
When the Browns signed Carlos Hyde before the draft, many fans felt deflated because it put a damper on the chances of drafting Penn State standout, Saquon Barkley.
However, fans should no longer have a heavy heart regarding one of the newest additions to Cleveland’s run game. Hyde, an NFL veteran out of Ohio State, has put up impressive numbers in his four-year stint with the 49ers. He averages a little over four yards per carry and has 21 career touchdowns.
Hyde, on a three-year deal, joins a newly renovated run game in Cleveland.
Duke Johnson Jr. and rookie Nick Chubb will also get a fair share of handoffs this season, but it is likely that Jackson gives the majority of snaps to the veteran Buckeye-product as long as he stays healthy.
