QB Tyrod Taylor
Former Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor is the biggest name to look forward to during the 2018 campaign for the Browns. All eyes will be on the veteran quarterback with fans eager to see Mayfield, the No. 1 selection, get some playing time if things go haywire.
Thus far, Taylor has remained calm and collected through all the noise of being traded to a 0-16 team, as well as drafting Mayfield to sit behind him.
Over the course of his career, he has completed 62.4% of his passes. He’s scored 51 touchdowns opposed to only 18 interceptions. Taylor has the complete package of efficiency throwing the football, mobility escaping the pocket and veteran leadership for the locker room. He has the potential to be one of the best Browns QBs since 1999.
Although coach Hue Jackson will tell the media that the starting QB job remains a “competition,” the job is more than likely Taylor’s.
