The Browns Sign CB Kevin Johnson – More Here!

“No, not that Kevin Johnson!”

I say that because the Browns used to have a wide receiver with the same name that played for the team from 1999-2003.

This Kevin Johnson plays cornerback and the deal is for $3.5 million dollars with up to $6 million in incentives. Johnson is going to play slot corner for the Browns and hopefully will help the defense in that way.

Johnson is 27, played last season with the Buffalo Bills and the previous four with the Houston Texans, the team that drafted him with the 16th pick in 2015. He went to Wake Forest for college.

Johnson’s career stats are mediocre. 164 career tackles, one sack, one interception, 19 pass deflections and one fumble recovery.

Let’s see what this veteran can do as a member of the Browns!
