Since, well 1999, the Browns regular season has been nothing noteworthy. Just one playoff appearance since returning and a history of poor drafts, has not really done much to propel the franchise in the right direction. Numerous hight draft picks that never panned out (Tim Couch, Courtney Brown, Gerard Warren, William Green, Kellen Winslow, Braylon Edwards and the list goes on and on and on and on and on and yep you guessed it…on).
The Browns fired their old regime and started over….again. They have Executive VP of Football Operations Sashi Brown, Chief Strategist Paul DePodesta, and head coach Hue Jackson in charge now.
This was finally a year where the Browns, at least on the surface, got it right:
