The Browns Could Run The Table and Still Not Get Into Playoffs

The Browns could run the table and still not get into playoffs.  Too many “could’ve/should’ve” games in the first half of the season.  We all remember the Jets debacle in week two where a missed XP was the margin of defeat.
Also, the Chargers game where a 54-yard FG was missed to seal the defeat. Nick Chubb was unstoppable in that game however the defense gave it all back.
The Chargers are one of the fringe playoff picture teams whose record would be the same as the Browns if you turn that W into an L and vice versa for Cleveland. All in all, running the table seems improbable given Browns’ penchant for finding unique ways to lose games they should win (Atlanta and the fore-mentioned Chargers game).
The law of averages says they’ll do that at least once more. They are surely capable of beating everyone on the remaining schedule. (..as well as losing to them)
Even if they manage to play up to their capabilities, using large doses of Nick Chubb, the Browns could run the table and still miss the playoffs on a tiebreaker.
