Its not hard to argue the fact that the right hander for the Cleveland Indians Corey Kluber has been performing at an all-star caliber this past month. Kluber has now strongly finished up the month of May with a 5-2 win over the Colorado Rockies, Kluber went 7.1 innings allowing 5 hits, 2 earned runs, 1 walk and an impressive 12 strikeouts!

Kluber flat out dominated in the month of May going a perfect 4-0 with a 2.09 ERA and rung up a remarkable 60 strikeouts over 43 innings and recorded quality starts in every outing. His 60 strikeouts are the most by an Indians pitcher in a calendar month since Dennis Eckersley posted the same amount back in 1976. Kluber has now become the fifth Cleveland pitcher since 1914 with 60 plus strikeouts in a single month.

Corey Kluber is now 6-3 with a 3.05 ERA and accompanied by a 1.23 WHIP on the season and is currently leading the league in strikeouts with a grand total of 95! Which leads me to the argument that if Kluber keeps out doing himself he should find his name on the All Star roster on July 15th at Target Field in Minnesota this year. Who knows maybe he’ll end up even starting for the AL squad, only time and dominance will tell for the young gun out of Cleveland!
