That’s How Wine & Gold Wins Are Made

The Cleveland Cavaliers are red hot and making their way out west on a four-game road trip. Can the Cavs keep their number one seed in the East? If they are playing basketball like they have the past three games against the Magics, Pistons and Jazz, that answer is a YES.

Starting out a little rocky last week with a three-game losing skid against the Miami Heat X2 and Detroit Pistons, it was no secret that the Cavs had no one doing the dirty work underneath the basket. No one was grabbing rebounds offensively or defensively. Quite frankly, it was hard to watch; they weren’t working together.

Kevin Love is leading the squad this season averaging 2.6 offensive rebounds and 8.6 defensive rebounds. We are thrilled that K-Love has recovered from his knee surgery and he’s back on the court sinking threes and doing the dirty work.  J.R Smith AKA Jump Shot Jesus, if you follow Richard Jefferson’s Snap Chat, is back in action getting acclimated with his shot again, coming back stronger than ever before.

”Kyrie looked at me and said he probably won’t be able to finish the game,” James said. ”With Kev being on a minutes restriction coming back, I knew Shump was out, I had to step up the scoring load a little bit.”

LeBron James steps it up every single time he steps foot on the court. He sets the pace for the entire game the minute he receives the ball. When LeBron gets the breakaways earlier on, it gives the Cavs the jump start into overdrive. They step on the gas making laser passes, strategically moving the ball, getting quicker rebounds and putting the points up.

Everyone works together.

The Cavaliers are building a force to be reckoned with. These guys are hungry and judging by these last few games of outstanding basketball, they aren’t planning on letting up anytime soon. That’s how wine and gold wins are made.
