Suchan Favorites: My Five Favorite Cleveland Indians

Sandy Alomar

Alomar, who is currently the 1st base coach for the Indians played on those terrific teams of the ’90s. He played from 1990-2000. He was the catcher and called games for some great past Indians pitchers like Orel Hershiser, Dennis Martinez and Charles Nagy. He never had a ton of big hits, but he had a few great playoff moments. Like his home run off Mariano Rivera of the New York Yankees in a big playoff game in 1997.
