Strengths and Weaknesses of the top QB’s in the Class of 2018

Taking a look at the Strengths and Weaknesses of the Top QB’s coming out for the 2018 NFL Draft.

Lamar Jackson

Elite athlete. He ran for more yards than Saquon Barkley, seriously… Possess good arm strength and ability to throw on the run. Throws with accuracy on his deep balls. Played very well against top competition.

Has poor footwork that has lead to bad accuracy in his intermediate passing game. Has good size at 6’3 but is thin and will not be able to absorb hits in the NFL the way he did in college. Dual-threat QBs find that relying on the run game will get you out of the NFL in a hurry. Struggles with timing and locks onto his receivers. Needs time to develop into a pocket passer.
