Strengths and Weaknesses of the top QB’s in the Class of 2018
Taking a look at the Strengths and Weaknesses of the Top QB’s coming out for the 2018 NFL Draft.
Josh Allen
Strengths
Allen has elite size (6’5′, 235). Shows good mobility for his size and throws well on the run. Elite arm strength and walks into the NFL with a top-5 arm. High character, small school guy who helped turn around a struggling Wyoming program. Played in a more traditional offense. Has as high a ceiling as possible. Possess all the necessary physical tools to succeed at the next level.
Weaknesses
Poor accuracy led to a sub 60% completion percentage his senior year. Had some injury issues due to some poor offensive line play. Sometimes trusts his arm too much and won’t be able to make some of the same throws at the next level. Forces balls into tight windows and struggles to make quick decisions and scan the field. Has faced lower level competition than the rest of the top 5 QBs.
