After being traded to the Cavaliers from the New York Knicks on January 5, Iman Shumpert finally suited up for the Cavaliers last night. Shumpert was sidelined for around 2 weeks after being traded to Cleveland due to a dislocated shoulder. Iman started practicing earlier this week and was quickly upgraded to probable for last night’s game.

Coach David Blatt mentioned Shumpert’s minutes were to be limited, but Iman’s presence was known early as he provided 8 points from 3-3 shooting in 9 minutes of play. Iman also showed flashes of his perimeter defensive skills in his short stint. With Shumpert coming off the bench, he just adds another weapon for the Wine and Gold on both ends of the floor. This was Iman’s first game since December 12,2014.
