During a cluster of Super Bowl media events and press conferences in Atlanta with the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams, the Cleveland Browns are awaiting the arrival of some very good news.
Rashard Higgins, who was rumored to be in the process of a contract extension, confirmed that he intends to be back with the Browns in 2019.
“I’ll be back,” Higgins said with optimism in his eyes when asked of his contract situation with the Browns.
While the contract is still a work in progress, Higgins, who is a restricted free agent, seemed extremely optimistic about his return with the Browns.
Nothing is official yet, but Browns fans should be confident that the front office is beginning the process of free agency already. Expect things to start occurring after Super Bowl 53 on Sunday.
