Ranking The 21 Browns QB’s Since “The Return” In 1999

In 1999, the city of Cleveland was granted their rightful ownership of their once beloved Browns team. Since then, the team has used 21 starting quarterbacks. Quite a few were drafted in the first round, others were taken much later in the draft. Some were acquired with a trade, and others came via free agency. Every single one of these QB’s have one thing in common, they all failed to become a long-term answer at the quarterback position. Or as most sports fan call it, the most important single position in sports. Now, with Johnny Manziel being named the starter, Dawg Pound Nation has something to be optimistic about, in regards to the Browns future success.

We decided to rank each of those twenty quarterbacks from worst to best; based on stats, record, personal opinions, and all other relevant variables. If you disagree with this list, we would love you to tweet at us (@CLEsportsTalk) to voice your opinion. While this may be a painful read for most of you Browns fans, just keep in mind…… Johnny Football very well could end this horrid drought starting Sunday. Enjoy!
