After a disappointing finish to their season, the Ohio State Buckeyes continue to work. They recently added a new player to their program. He’s coming off from a good school and now he’s coming to Ohio State. His name is the former Ole Miss running back Quinshon Judkins. He transferred to Ohio State and this transfer might go down in history if it all works out for the best.
Who is Quinshon Judkins? He is a first-team All-SEC player and earned SEC Freshman of the Year honors in 2022. Judkins is no scrub. He can play. Judkins rushed for 2,723 yards in two seasons with the Rebels. That’s not easy to accomplish. He’s a hard worker and gives you the impression that he wants it bad enough. The fact that he entered the portal and decided to come to Ohio State tells us that he wants to compete for the national championship. He wants to elevate his stature as a running back and hopes to bring Ohio State a national title before he finishes his college career.
This all sounds great and exciting. We can’t wait to see what he can do on the field for the Buckeyes. However, the Buckeyes also need to focus on the quarterback position. It’s the most crucial position to fill in football. Ohio State Buckeyes need to figure out that situation, they have to beat Michigan Wolverines, who are the new national champions, and hope Quinshon Judkins can be their Blake Corum or even better.
If the Buckeyes want to win the ultimate prize, they would need to stay healthy and beat Michigan and any other great team that will stand in their way. I’m the meantime, we welcome Quinshon Judkins to the Ohio State family and take his game to a whole another level. Give the kid a chance to shine on the bright lights. Insane work ethic and playmaking skills are very important.
