There is actually a question now if quarterback Deshaun Watson wants to play football anymore. This after the pass thrower was once again ruled out for another game this Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks on the road. It’ll be PJ Walker as the starter for Cleveland once again.

According to Adam Schefter: Some clarity on Deshaun Watson’s injury: doctors told him that he has a strain of the subscapularis within the rotator cuff and he continues to have both pain and weakness with movement. This type of injury in baseball normally causes pitchers to miss 4-6 weeks. Watson continues to work to regain strength and velocity in his shoulder and shorten that window.

Now, what any logical person would question is why was the quarterback starting on Sunday in the first place against the Colts if this was the case for with injury to begin with…

There is the question that there is more to this story and simply that fans aren’t made aware of it. Honestly, it’s not like Watson showed anything while playing against the Colts that made fans confident in his playing ability anyway…

Personally, I was not a fan of Brady Quinn making comments about Watson because he sucked as a member of the Browns when he was the quarterback. However, what he said isn’t entirely wrong in the sense that it’s starting to look like Watson has taken money from the Browns and this contract is looking horrific.

The worst part of this all is how good the Browns Defense as a whole has been and it’s led to the team sporting a 4-2 record with Watson missing all of these games anyway. Now, he’ll be missing at least another one and Walker is going to have to hold the fort again. It’s just a matter of how much this defense can truly take without a strong starting QB.

The question I keep asking is if there is something more going on with this quarterback? Why does he keep finding ways to miss games despite being paid all of this money? Is he really and truly hurt or is it just a way to get out of starting?

If this continues, the Browns are going to have to figure out a true replacement as the starter because our backups aren’t going to cut it throughout the remainder of the season.

What’s even scarier is the fact that Watson was signed for five years. People are saying it’s potentially the worst contract in NFL History. There’s a lot more time to go in regards to that but even the fact that it’s come into conversation is a frightening thought itself…

Deshaun, it’s time to play. It’s time to play well. It’s time to help the Browns make the playoffs and contend for a Super Bowl. You’re too busy starting on the sideline as of late…
