Perriman Gone, Was Put in Tough Place…

Yesterday, I wrote an article about WR Breshad Perriman. How he was the “deep ball threat” the Browns needed to retain for next year. Then, the trade everyone was waiting for happened and the Browns got Odell Beckham Jr. from the Giants!!!
With that move, Perriman decided it was best for him to seek a different opportunity because he was now behind Beckham, Jarvis Landry, Antonio Callaway, TE David Njoku and others.
It goes to the theory that there is only one football to be shared throughout the game. This upcoming season has Perriman playing for his football life and the last thing he wants is to be forgotten in Cleveland behind all of this tremendous talent. Thus, ending his career…
On the flip side, there’s a chance that he would have had a great year because he was wide open every play with all the attention on the stars.
Now, Perriman backed out of his agreement with the Browns and is now a member of the Tampa Bay Bucs. It’s the same contract, 1-year, 4-Mil.
The Bucs certainly don’t have a Baker Mayfield under center, but Perriman will have plenty of opportunity to show what he is made of. I wish him the best of luck and am disappointed he’s leaving Cleveland. However, the Browns cannot keep everyone…
