Bo Naylor came into Tuesday’s game hitting .191, but he was on a mission against the Kansas Coty Royals. Naylor connected not one but two home runs against Kansas City.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, with one man on base, Naylor stepped up to the plate and hit another home run to deep center field. It is Naylor’s first career multi-home run game. Bo Naylor finished the game going 2-for-3 with two home runs and three RBIs. He has four home runs and 11 RBIs this season so far.

The Guardians won this game 5-1 and are within one win away from reaching the .500 mark (50-51).

Guardians starting pitcher Aaron Civale picked up the win. Through eight innings, he gave up one earned run and struck out five batters. Royals and Guardians will continue their series on Wednesday as they will play at 1pm EST. Guardians are looking to extend their winning streak. Gavin Williams will take the mound for the Guardians.
