We are one week through the NBA season and what a week it has been. We’ve had triple doubles, highlight dunks, fights and even a coach already fired. With all the excitement surrounding the NBA, there’s not one good reason to not play one day fantasy on Fantasy Draft. So without further ado, here is my week two lineup with player picks, sleepers and more daily fantasy advice.
This week, I felt a little more extravagant and decided to play a $5 NBA Layup contest with $2,000 up for grabs. Here is the lineup I’ll be sending out tonight.
Guard- Mike Conley, Mem, $14,400
Guard- Jaylen Brown, Bos, $11,500
Guard- Jerryd Bayless, Phi, $8,000
Forward/Center- Lauri Markkanen, Chi, $12,400
Forward/Center- Marc Gasol, Mem, $14,300
Forward/Center- Jayson Tatum, Bos, $12,500
Utility- Damian Lillard, Por, $14,900
Utility- Jusuf Nurkic, Por, $12,000
I once again used the entire $100,000 to set my lineup because really, there is no reason not to. Now, clearly from this lineup, you can see that I went very young with some of my player picks and that’s perfectly fine. Markkanen, Brown, and Tatum are all productive young players that don’t just score, they also rebound, pass and block shots. These young guns won’t break the bank but will load the stat sheet.
The biggest question mark you have to be seeing in my lineup is Bayless and that’s understandable. However, with Markelle Fultz currently out due to injury that puts Bayless into the starting role allowing him to be a sneaky good play at a very low cost. Finding good sleepers like Bayless will help to allow you to add top performers like Lillard into your lineup.
As with last week, I wanted to make sure I got a very balanced lineup. I wanted to make sure I had a diverse group of players, so I could get as many points as possible. That is really the biggest key; it’s not always about having the best scorers, but rather, the best performers. That is what I did here with my lineup for tonight.
That’s going to wrap it up for this week’s Fantasy Draft NBA fantasy lineup and advice, but be sure to stay tuned as Cleveland Sports Talk will have advice and picks for you every week to help you win this year in fantasy basketball.
