December 3, 2023

When it comes to free agency and the Browns, all the experts are focusing on the defensive side of the ball, as they should. However, while the Browns offense pretty much comes back intact in 2023, there are still some needs. Wide receiver is the number one offensive priority, but not for a number one receiver, but rather a number three who could eventually turn into a number one or number two receiver. Head coach Kevin Stefanski’s offense requires two tight ends, a compliment to David Njoku is a need. Lastly, because Browns GM Andrew Berry would not commit to naming Nick Harris the starter at center, it appears this position will require attention. Here’s my wish list:

Parris Campbell, WR, Colts

2022 was the first season Campbell played the entire season. He had 623 receiving yards and 40 receiving yards in nine games. According to Pro Football Focus Campbell caught 74.1% of his targets, top twenty among wide receivers. This would be a value signing and he’s only 25 years old. Estimated salary, $ 7.75 million per year on a three-year contract.
