The Browns have added yet another wide receiver to the roster. This time it is Miles Austin, the 29 year old who formerly played for the Dallas Cowboys. Miles Austin was my favorite wide out in this year’s free agent class. While Austin is a very good talent, he does have a nagging hamstring issue which has been a very big problem for him, only having 24 catches on the year. The Austin and Bennett signings have definitely pointed to the reports of Josh Gordon being suspended for the entire year to be true. While most people, including myself, were disappointed when we passed on several wide receivers in the draft, these signings are a very good alternative to drafting a wide out. If Austin can stay healthy, there is a good possibility that he could be the number 1 receiver on the roster with Josh Gordon being sidelined for the whole season.
