Mike Clevinger & Tyler Naquin Are Two Bright Spots on an Underachieving Team

Going into Friday’s game against the Kansas City Royals, the Indians currently sit atop the AL Central division despite owning a .500 record at 18-18.

The team has greatly under-performed through the first month of the regular season, echoing the slow starts of the 2016 and 2017 season that ended with the team reaching the postseason.

With Corey Kluber and Carlos Carrasco looking as sharp as always, the rest of the team has not gotten off to such good starts. Minus a few names, the team as a whole has looked sluggish.

Of course, not everyone has been stuck in a rut and the following two players have been a couple of bright spots in an otherwise dreary April and May so far.
