SIGNIFICANT PICKS

1. Cleveland Browns- Sam Darnold

If the Browns miss out on the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes they are inclined to take a QB #1 overall. With 3 or 4 Possible QBs going in this slot I have the Browns taking their best fit at QB. Josh Rosen clearly would like to stay away from the Browns and we don’t want an Eli Manning situation, and We have seen the big armed QB with great tangibles fail (Deshone Kizer) so we don’t need to go that route with Josh Allen. And lord knows that we have seen the undersized Heisman winner in a spread offense (Johnny Manziel) so id suggest staying away from Baker Mayfield at least with the #1 pick. As for Sam Darnold, the Browns are getting a talented kid with big heart and a great head on his shoulders. His blue-collar mentality will mesh well in Cleveland he just needs a little coaching up so Hue Jackson better be prepared for the task.

4. Cleveland Browns- Saquon Barkley

When the Browns select Sam Darnold #1 their main priority for the next 10 years should be to build as much talent around him as possible. With Saquon Barkley not only are the Browns getting the most talented player in the draft, they are directly cutting from the mold that helped turn around the Cowboys and the Jaguars. Drafting Ezekiel Elliott and Leonard Fournette at pick number 4 helped take the pressure of Blake Bortles and Dak Prescott’s shoulders and gave both teams a more dynamic offense.

12. Cincinnati Bengals- Josh Allen

The bengals start over at QB with Andy Dalton slated to make just over 3 million this year they can give Allen enough time to learn the playbook and understand the offense before eventually taking over either the next year, or later next season.

22. Buffalo Bills- Lamar Jackson

The bills have back to back picks and with the latter of the two picks they will select a young QB who can sit and learn from Tyrod Taylor a QB with a similar playing style. The former Heisman Candidate may be a better athlete than QB but some team will fall in love with him near the end of the first round and I believe that will be the Bills.
