Taylor & Co. Finishes Back of the Pack
This was easily the saddest part of the article. I assumed Taylor would not be in the cellar in terms of the passing statistics. Taylor had a fairly pedestrian-like season. He averaged barely over a touchdown a game as he found the end zone 22 times, 23rd best in the league.
On the negative side, he threw 15 interceptions which were the 8th-most in the league. Taylor also finished the season with a 57% completion rate, which landed him at 28th in the league among starters.
Teammate Josh Gordon only had one week above 100 yards receiving. Jarvis Landry turned in multiple good weeks and finished with 935 yards receiving, 21st-best in the league. Jarvis finished with 72 receptions and seven touchdowns which were both ranked as 28th-best in the league.
The only player on the team that was featured in awards was Emmanuel Ogbah who finished 7th in DL voting.
The Tyrod Taylor experience was fun but a 5-11 season would still not cut it with the talent they have on the roster.
