Week 3 NYJ
I figured that Cleveland wouldn’t defeat the Steelers in the first week. I also fully expected Cleveland to get flattened by the New Orleans Saints in Week 2. But when Cleveland started out 0-2 to start the season, I had perfect parade thoughts coming to mind.
Week 3 against the New York Jets was one of Taylor’s best games. One of the three times he threw for over 300 yards, Taylor led the Browns to a 24-7 win.
Finishing with a 127.4 passing rating, Taylor reached the end zone with two passing touchdowns as the Browns steamrolled their way to their first win. At this point, I assumed they would start winning a handful of games and that Taylor would continue to play above average, I was wrong.
