Looking at the Browns Most Winnable Games This Season
Week 13: Browns at Chargers
The Browns will get to face the Chargers again this season and look to beat them for the second year in a row. Of course, as we all know, the Chargers were the only Browns victory last year, but this year should be the Browns fifth win of the year. The Chargers have been one of the most injury plagued teams in the past few seasons and this year is no different. In their first preseason game, the Chargers lost standout middle linebacker Denzel Perryman to an ankle injury. He now joins Forrest Lamp, who tore his ACL and Mike Williams, who has two herniated disks, on the disabled list. With injuries already piling up for the Chargers, expect them to struggle this season. Lamp was expected to be a nice piece to add to a weak Chargers offensive line, but now the Chargers will have to move forward without him. The Browns will be able to get a lot of pressure on Chargers’ quarterback Phillip Rivers and force him to make mistakes. The Browns should once again be able to beat the Chargers as the Chargers will once again be battling the injury bug.
