ROUND 6 PICK 175-
Damion Ratley WR Texas A & M Aggies

Personally, I’m glad to see this addition to our wide receiving corps. At 6-2 and 196 pounds, Damon Ratley has the size to out-muscle some solid secondaries in the league. He also has the speed, at Texas A&M’s pro day, Ratley ran a 4.39 40 which should help him get open and become a playmaker. Additionally, he has a 38-inch vertical jump. All of this sounds like once Ratley finds his bearings in the NFL, he potentially could challenge Corey Coleman for a job.

In 2017, Ratley nabbed 26 catches for 603 yards and six touchdowns for the Aggies. While it is too soon to tell, I’m going to keep my eye on this kid. I believe this was a smart pick.
