Cavaliers ( 27-20) @ Kings (17-30)

The streaking Cavaliers finish out their quick home stand with a contest against Western Conference foe Sacramento. The Cavaliers are still riding high from the Trailblazers game, in which Kyrie Irving had a career best 55 points. Coming into Friday, the Kings team morale is low because Demarcus Cousins was snubbed from the all-star game. Heading into tonight’s game, they are a squad that’s reeling.

Matchup to watch for:

Coming into Friday, a day after being left off the all-star team, Demarcus Cousins will be looking to prove he deserved that all-star spot. On the other side, Timofey Mozgov looks to show he also is the man the Cavaliers have been looking for since the start of the season. Cousins will get the nod for the advantage due to his numbers, but Mozgov is no push over, and has proven to be immune to pressure after hitting two clutch free throws against Portland. Look for those two hard-nosed centers to have a battle in paint not yet seen between the Cavaliers and an opponent this year.
