Kevin Pangos Wants Out

Cavs guard Kevin Pangos was signed to the team last September. However, according to multiple sources, his playing days in a Cavs uniform are already coming to an end.
Reportedly, Pangos desires to get traded before the trade deadline or be waived by the team beforehand. However, multiple sources say he has plans to return to Europe and sign with a Russian team, CSKA Moscow.
Pangos played professionally for six years in Europe before signing with the Cavs. In his last season in the Euro League, he earned All-Euro League First Team honors. Averaging 13.5 points and 6.7 assists per game while shooting 39% from the three. His production ranked him 18th in points per game and 3rd in assists for the league last season.
However, his success in Europe has not translated well in the NBA. He has played in 24 games and started three of them. He has averaged 1.6 points and 1.3 assists per game in 6.9 minutes per contest.
As the trade deadline is ending, look for the Cavs to make a move or two in the buyout market to fill any roster voids.
