Indians Sign 2B Jason Kipnis to a 6 year, 52.5 Million Dollar Extension

This morning, huge news came out that the Indians extended 2B Jason Kipnis’ contract through the 2019 season. Six years, 52.5 million dollars is the amount Kip will be making in total. Last season, he batted .284 with 17 home runs and 84 RBIs. This includes a month of June where he marked a .419 batting average.

This is great news for Tribe fans!
