I Like Steph Curry…Who Do I Hate?
Yeah, it’s true. I never thought that there would be a day where I would actually like and admire that star basketball player on the Golden State Warriors. It has certainly taken a lot for my opinion to change.
What was the deciding factor officially?
I saw this video on Twitter that was absolutely amazing of Steph. It was the longest shot by Curry against every team in the NBA during hid career. Watching him make each deep look was amazing.

Now, of course, there are plenty of great shooters in NBA History. Players such as Ray Allen, Larry Bird, Reggie Miller, Kyle Korver, Cleveland’s own Mark Price. Don’t forget Curry’s teammate Klay Thompson.
The list goes on and on.
The way those players shoot the ball is magical. When I shoot, just hitting the rim is a victory worth celebrating.
But, it’s clear that Steph is the best there ever was and that will not be disputed. Us Cavs fans originally hated the guy because Curry was making those long bombs against our team in a rivalry that took place in the NBA Finals for multiple years.
Now, who do I hate?
Well, it’s Kevin Durant. This being because him as one of the best players in the game went from the OKC Thunder to the Golden State Warriors the year after the Cavs came back from down 3-1 .
Ultimately, the Warriors became even better and prevented LeBron James and the Cavs from having any chance to win another championship after 2016. He piggy-backed to an already-super-team and made that Warriors roster absolutely unbeatable. This being because he couldn’t win a title with the OKC Thunder in the decade before.
If Durant went elsewhere, the Cavs could be sporting multiple titles instead of just the one in ’16
Now, my feelings about Steph would be much different if the Cavs never won a championship and went all of those years without any titles. 3-1 will always be remembered and ultimately does leave a stain on Steph’s career that can’t be taken away.
In Cleveland, it’s teams that are hated more than players themselves. Specifically the football teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals than say players themselves.
Also, Steph’s Curry’s commercials with like Subway are funny to watch too. That we frankly cannot forget either.
