How Game 6 Could Shape Future of the Cavs, LeBron and His Legacy

Believe it or not, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ long and exhausting season could come to a close as early as tonight night.

After another road loss to the Celtics Wednesday night by a score of 96-83, the Cavs find themselves trailing in the Eastern Conference Finals 3-2 with back-to-back elimination games coming this weekend.

All season long, fans have flipped their varying expectations of this team from early playoff exit to another deep playoff run into the finals, and despite the high expectations of the players on the team, the team as a whole did little to reassure that this team had what it takes to make another championship run.

After all, the team’s slogan for the playoffs was “Whatever It Takes.” Whatever it takes? That doesn’t sound like a very strong slogan for a fearless team, now does it? Now, it will take back-to-back wins for the first time in this series to avoid an early elimination to a team that is simply not better than the Cavs when their star players are on the bench.

Check out the pages to follow for more on the team’s future.
