Green Returning to Wine and Gold

With the Houston Rockets buying out the contact of guard Danny Green, the 35-year old looks to return to the home of rock n’ roll as the Cavs are nearing an agreement with him. For Green, it’s his third team this season after being traded on draft day.
You may remember that Green ended the 21-22 campaign with Philly, who then dealt him to Memphis. The Grizzlies then sent him south to Houston last week, who have apparently deemed his services unnecessary.
Enter Cleveland, a young team gunning for a high spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Cavaliers see the opportunity to add depth and they’re going to take it as they near finalizing an offer to Green.
Some argue the shooting guard still hasn’t found his sea legs after recuperating from a torn anterior cruciate ligament and lateral cruciate ligament suffered in last year’s playoffs. He’s missed 50 games this season but last suited up on February 7th for the Rockets.
Once a deal is in place, look for him to suit up for the Cavs immediately.
