During the 2017 campaign, the Cleveland Browns had a deal in place to acquire A.J. McCarron from the Cincinnati Bengals. The Browns were ready to offer a second and third-round draft pick to acquire the quarterback, but the deal was botched by former GM Sashi Brown. Since then, Brown was fired and the front office went through a makeover. With Hue Jackson still on board, Cleveland could still look to McCarron to suit up at quarterback and here’s why:
