Cleveland has more than enough assets to acquire Smith. They own 12 picks in the upcoming draft and can afford to part with one if not two picks. The Chiefs traded away two second round picks for Alex, so that’s where the bar sits. Five seasons later might soften the asking price as the veteran has aged some, but definitely has more in the tank.
