Five Optimistic Tribe Predictions


This year is supposed to be a huge year for the Tribe. While the only “huge” acquisition we had was the trade for slugger Brandon Moss, there will be several players coming back healthy that did struggle the majority of last year with injuries. We have players like Jason Kipnis, Nick Swisher, and Michael Bourn coming back with better health to start the year. All are likely due to have much better seasons. We have our star hitters who will be planning to build off of big seasons last year, like the walk king and 27 home run hitter Carlos Santana, Silver Slugger Yan Gomes and of course MVP candidate Michael Brantley.

Additionally, we have our powerful yet efficient star pitchers returning from last year in Carlos Carrasco, Cody Allen, and Cy Young Winner Corey Kluber. Finally, of course, we have young players like Jose Ramirez, Trevor Bauer, Zach Walters and T.J. House who are doing nothing but getting better.

The Indians, an unusual 85 win club last year, seem to have as many advantages as you could want in their favor going into the 2015 season. Yes, I know that many Cleveland fans say this every year but this might actually be the year we make it to October. So, here are my five big predictions for the Tribe this year:
