Five Ohio State Players Who Would Fit With the Browns

Today is the Ohio State Pro Day. Ohio State always puts talented players into the NFL. Going in and coming out of today’s Pro Day the two names you hear about the most are DE Nick Bosa and QB Dwayne Haskins. Both Bosa and Haskins will be long gone before the Browns draft at pick #49, so here are five players, who you won’t hear as much about, from Ohio State that would be good fits for the Browns.

DT Dre’Mont Jones

After signing DT Sheldon Richardson last week this might be a strange pick for some, but Jones can provide depth behind Richardson and Larry Ogunjobi now and be prepared to take over for Richardson when his contract is up. Last season Ogunjobi played a high percentage of defensive snaps and dealt with an injury towards the end of the season, so drafting a defensive tackle is a smart idea. Adding depth in a player like Jones, who in 2018 had eight sacks and 11 TFL, can help the Browns for years to come.
