Key #2: Make Passes Count
Baker Mayfield hasn’t thrown for over 225 yards all season long and based on the fact that the Colts have the best pass defense in the entire league that seems unlikely to change. While Mayfield hasn’t been winning games by throwing the football, he’s not losing them either. In the Browns three-game win streak, he has thrown six touchdown passes and just one interception. The offense will likely be run-based, but if Mayfield can find Odell Beckham Jr., who had a big game last week and Jarvis Landry, who’s gotten off to a tough start in 2020, for some big plays; it can set the offense up for success.
